I was a lab technician in a biomedical/molecular biology research lab at a large university.
Through part-time jobs as a grader and tutor, I discovered the joys of teaching. Recently, I went back to school and earned a Masters degree and teaching certification. Now I'm a full time teacher.
Thanks for stopping by and drop me a line if you want.

Nobel Prize winning scientist Richard E. Smalley is applying his amazing brain to the problem of 21st century's energy needs. Check out the video of a lecture he gave at Columbia University, the power point presentations, and nanotechology research papers on the left toolbar. His work on science education is top noch. His motto "Become a Scientist, Save the World" is a tool science educators at all levels need to use.
